Conventions Of Radio News

So I had to contact a radio presenter/ institute to ask them this question... What Are Conventions Of Radio News?
I contacted six different radio presenters and got no reply (They were obviously way too busy to
 reply!!) Then finally I got a last minute reply from Tom from Radio 1 Breakfast Show.
