I have been looking into some newscasts recently to see how they do things so i could apply them to my radio newscast to make it better. Here is one...
As you can see they started off their news with the most important news e.g. Murder, by the way while we're on the topic, How absurd was that?! How the hell do you accidentally shoot your girlfriend on valentines day?!! Anyway back to the actual purpose of this post..the newscast went in order of importance then slowly moved onto the less important news like teeth whitening and ending with the least important e.g. latest Internet craze: 'The Harlem Shake' (Don't you lie! You've tried to do one haven't you?)
This helps our newscast because it makes it more organised and we'll know what to talk about and when to talk about it preventing any collisions.
