I think people are always more interested in things that are happening at the moment (Timelessness/Currency) we want to know the recent happenings. Allthough coonflict stories leave you feeling really bad and sympathetic, it doesn't stop people from wanting to listen to them because it is interesting whcich leads to human interest stories; almost everyone i know loves listening to stories that are miraculous e.g.
These are the kind of stories that pull on the heart strings. Which news values are YOU most interested in?
